Understanding Emotional Spending

Many spending decisions happen in response to feelings: stress, boredom, celebration, avoidance. This program explores that territory in depth. It's not about eliminating emotional spending, but about recognizing it when it happens and understanding what's driving it.

The ten modules move from general emotional awareness into specific patterns, with prompts designed to help you identify your own particular triggers and habits.

Daily Habits for Financial Calm

This program is practical. It focuses on small daily habits that can reduce financial anxiety over time. Not dramatic changes, but consistent small actions that build a different relationship with money over weeks and months.

The six modules are shorter than the other programs, designed to be revisited regularly as you build and refine your habits. The habit tracker in this program is the most detailed of the three.

Questions about the programs

Do I need to take them in order?

No. Each program is independent. That said, if you're new here, the Spending Awareness Foundation is a natural starting point because the concepts in the other programs build on the kind of self-awareness it develops.

How much time does each program take?

The video content alone ranges from around two hours (Daily Habits) to three and a half hours (Emotional Spending). But the real work happens between sessions, in the reflection and tracking. That's up to you.

Is this financial advice?

No. These are educational programs. Nothing here constitutes financial advice, and nothing should be treated as a recommendation about your specific financial situation. If you need personalized financial guidance, please consult a qualified professional.

What if I want to take all three?

You can. Many people find that working through more than one program deepens their understanding considerably. Contact us to ask about access to multiple programs.
